Shellack

Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lac bug, on trees in the forests of India and Thailand. Shellac is used in technical, food and pharmaceutical applications. Available in flakes, powders or solutions and used as a brush-on colorant, food glaze and wood finish.

Shellac functions as a tough natural primer, sanding sealant, tannin-blocker, odour-blocker, stain, and high-gloss varnish as it possesses good insulation qualities and it seals out moisture. We have various kinds of shellac in our program:
1. Schellac flakes,
2. bleached shellac,
3. water-soluble shellac and
4. shellac-acrylic copolymers.

Shellack is available in a variety of qualities. Please contact us for further details.
